Finca El Morito is a group of small coffee producers located in Mataquescuintla, Jalapa in Santa Rosa, Guatemala, founded 20 years ago by Mr. Jose Roberto Monterroso. With its continuous growth, the group has expanded to over 450 members, offering a wide range of high-quality coffees, including Fancy SHB’s of the Jalapa region, washed and natural processed micro-lots from selected areas of group members. The coffee varieties grown at Finca El Morito, ranging from 1,400 to 2,000 meters above sea level, include Catuai, Pache San Ramon, Bourbon, and Mundo Novo.
One of the highlights of the Finca El Morito's coffee offerings is a Washed processed Geisha variety grown at 1,800 meters above sea level. The precision roasting of this coffee results in a truly remarkable flavor profile, as demonstrated by their success in the Cup of Excellence, winning 2nd place in 2013 and both 3rd and 11th place in 2014. So, if you're looking for a high-quality coffee with a rich history and a dedication to excellence, look no further than Finca El Morito.
