About this Specialty Coffee
Finca Lerida Estate is Panama's first and oldest coffee farm. Located in the Boquete region, at the base of Volcán Barú, this farm produces some of the finest and most expensive coffee in the world, such as Geisha, Pacamara, Catuai and Typica. You can learn about the history and culture of coffee in Panama, as well as the different methods of processing that give each variety its unique flavor and aroma.
Finca Lerida Estate is not just a coffee farm. Founded in 1924 by a Norwegian engineer who built the first gravity-fed coffee plantation in Panama, this farm has been producing high-quality lots for almost a century. It was the first to export Panamanian coffee to Germany in 1929, and since then it has been recognized as one of the exotic coffees of greater quality in the world.
