About this Specialty Coffee
Exotic, Adventurous and Demonstrably Fruit Forward. Going through deeply extended Carbonic Fermentation protocol takes controlled fermentation and enhanced aromatics. This innovative technique enables precision in flavour development while maintaining absolute quality control.
This farm is located at an altitude of more than 1900 meters at the mountains of Volcán, Panama. Due to the altitude, the temperature regularly hits 10ºc, allowing the trees to have a slower metabolism and therefore push more sugars into the cherries, resulting in a delicious sweetness. This, combined with the average rain of 2200mm make this coffee blessed by nature. Furthermore, they hire the native Nôbe-Buglé people and ensure they earn a living wage.
This variety is the Geisha bean. Geisha originates from the Ethiopian village of Gesha and is known for its sweetness and floral taste. Their trees produce small amounts of insanely aromatic coffee. Geisha coffee is routinely auctioned for high prices due to it’s flavor and prestige.
