About this Specialty Coffee
Abu Coffee is cultivated in a strategic location near the Baru Volcano National Park, where the climate and soil are ideal for coffee cultivation. The coffee trees receive powerful solar radiation, interrupted by a soft mist called "Bajareque" and caressed by thick fog. These conditions create a unique microclimate that enhances the quality and characteristics of the coffee.
Abu Coffee is processed with different methods, such as washed, natural, and anaerobic, that bring out different nuances and flavors in the coffee. Abu Coffee is named after José Guillermo Luttrell Tedman, a third-generation coffee producer who dreamed of creating the best-balanced coffee cup. His legacy and passion are reflected in the high-quality standards and consistency of Abu Coffee. Abu Coffee has won several awards in the Best of Panama competition, which is a prestigious event that showcases the best coffees from Panama.
