About this Specialty Coffee
At The Espresso Lab, we are proud to present a remarkable expression of Colombian terroir through our partnership with CATA Exporters, a quality-driven collective based in Colombia. Their name, Cata — meaning “tasting” in Spanish — reflects their core philosophy: to elevate coffee through a deep commitment to sensory excellence.
CATA Exporters is a family of roasters, buyers, and retailers rooted in a culture of respect for coffee, community, and seasonality. Since 2016, their Singapore-based roastery has set a standard in sourcing fresh, in-season coffees, with a precise and evolving approach to quality.
Our PANELA LINAR lot is a washed Pink Bourbon that embodies their meticulous sourcing and cupping protocols. Grown in Colombia’s high-altitude farms and harvested at peak ripeness, this coffee undergoes a clean, traditional washed process that highlights clarity and structure in the cup.
Expect a refined sensory profile with layered sweetness reminiscent of panela, bright citrus
acidity, and a soft floral finish — a vibrant and elegant representation of Colombian Pink
Bourbon.
This offering reflects The Espresso Lab’s pursuit of origin-driven coffees that are both
expressive and ethically sourced — crafted in collaboration with producers who share our
values of seasonality, transparency, and excellence.
