Ratibor Hartmann is one of the pioneering figures of specialty coffee in Panama and a key member of the renowned Hartmann Family, whose coffee-growing legacy spans three generations. Based in Santa Clara, Chiriquí, the family has built an international reputation for producing exceptional coffees while maintaining a deep commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable farming practices.
Finca Hartmann was established on land surrounded by pristine rainforest and today encompasses farms located between 1,300 and 2,000 meters above sea level. The Hartmann family cultivates coffee under the shade of native forest trees, preserving biodiversity and maintaining a healthy ecosystem that contributes to the distinctive character of their coffees.
Under Ratibor Hartmann's leadership and vision, the farm became one of Panama's most respected specialty coffee producers. The family is recognized for cultivating a diverse range of varieties, including Geisha, Pacamara, Maragogipe, Caturra, and Catuai, while continuously refining processing methods to highlight the unique terroir of the region.
